With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, and February designated as Heart Month, it’s a great time to introduce you to some heart-centered crystals!  Crystals associated with the heart chakra (spiritual energy center) are typically either pink or green, and are believed to support this area, emotionally, physically and/or spiritually.  The heart chakra is the gateway that connects the upper chakras (crown, third eye, and throat), with the lower chakras (solar plexus, sacral and root), and so it is the literally at the center of the body’s energy system. Balancing and supporting this chakra is beneficial for the whole system, and can lead to a greater sense of well-being, peace and joy.

PINK CRYSTALS

INK CRYSTALSRose Quartz - probably the most well-known and beloved of pink crystals, Rose Quartz is considered a stone of universal love, and promotes love in all its forms, whether it is self-love, friendship, compassion, romantic love or deep unconditional love, Rose Quartz supports it all.

Sugilite - this bright pinkish-purple stone is considered the modern “love stone”, first discovered in 1944.  It is known for its strong ties to spiritual love and awakening, as well as positivity and manifestation of your desires and dreams.

Morganite - another relatively new crystal (discovered in 1910), Morganite is often called the Crystal of Divine Love.  It encourages both healing and compassion in relationships and is very calming and stabilizing, especially when dealing with emotional issues and past traumas.

Rhodochrosite - with its soft pink energy, Rhodochrosite awakens the heart chakra and encourages emotional healing and inner peace.  It encourages compassion, self-love and forgiveness.

GREEN CRYSTALS

Amazonite - both calming and soothing, this beautiful stone helps you look at things with an open mind and heart.  Amazonite is a natural “worry stone”, helping alleviate worries and fears, and strengthening trust in oneself and others.
