It’s the most wonderful time of the year! With the kids jingle belling and everyone telling you”be of good cheer!”  It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

I know it’s still October and that Christmas is little over a month and half away… but let’s face it, it’s never too early to sing/listen to Christmas songs!

So, with that in mind, I’ve got twenty-five Christmas songs you should to listen to this December! Or right now, if that’s what you want. 😉

Christmas songs to add to your playlist

December Song by Peter Hollens.

This is an original by this Peter Hollens and it. Is. Awesome! You should totally check out his YouTube channel! He mostly does covers of other songs…which leads me to my next fave:

My Grown Up Christmas List by Peter and Evynne Hollens.

I love their cover of this song! It’s originally sung by Amy Grant, I think… I could be wrong about that. 🙂

Here Comes Santa Claus by Gene Autry.

Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus Lane…

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year by Andy Williams.

This was the intro at the beginning. I have to say it…I LOVE THIS SONG!!

Winter Wonderland by Perry Como.

I love this version of Winter Wonderland!

O Holy Night by BYU Noteworthy.

Love, love LOVE this song! Can I just say that I love all the songs on this list? ‘Cause I do! These wonderful ladies sing this song acapella… it sounds sooo amazing! You need to go to their YouTube channel and listen to their other covers!

Happy Holiday/The Holiday Season by Andy Williams.

The first time I heard this song I loved it so much, I repeated it over and over in my head so when I got home I could search it on YouTube!

That’s Christmas to Me by Pentatonix.

I like this song a lot, too!

Believe by Josh Groban.

From the Polar Express. Hot chocolate, anyone?

White Christmas by Bing Crosby.

Best. Version. Ever. Yep, it’s the original. I have a hard time listening to other versions of this song because no one else can sing it but him!

Sleigh Ride by Andy Williams.

This is a fast-paced version of Sleigh Ride and I really like it! I could listen to it on repeat forever!

The Christmas Song (Chestnuts) by Nat King Cole.

I love this song! There’s also Al Jarreau’s version which is really great as well!

I’ll Be Home for Christmas by Home Free.

Great song, too! This is another YouTube channel that you really need to check out!

Mary Did You Know by Pentatonix.

I love their cover of this song, it’s so amazing!

Do You Hear What I Hear? by Andy Williams.

Said the night wind to the little lamb…

Little Drummer Boy by Pentatonix.

I like this version of the Little Drummer Boy a lot!

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Judy Garland.

I love this song, too!

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas by Bing Crosby.

I also really, really, REALLY love this song! It’s the best one ever! Next to White Christmas, and December Song, and O Holy Night…

We Need a Little Christmas by Percy Faith.

I would say that we need a lot of Christmas, but I guess more isn’t always better… 😉

Gloria (Angels We Have Heard On High) by BYU Noteworthy

I love this song! Almost as much as I love their cover of O Holy Night.

Silver Bells by Martina Mcbride.

I think this one might be my mom’s favorite. 🙂

Merry Christmas, Darling by Carpenters.

This song is pretty awesome, too… I don’t know, I just like this song!

The First Noel by Andy Williams.

Is it just me, or do I have more songs by Andy Williams here than anyone else? I think I do…

Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer by Gene Autry.

Had a very shiny nose…

No Place Like Home for the Holidays by Perry Como.

There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home…

Aaand, to make things even more awesome, here’s a bonus song!

As Long As There’s Christmas by Play

This song played after the credits in Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas and I loved it! I can’t remember the first time I heard it, but I know that it became one of my favorite Christmas songs!

And there you have it, twenty-five  plus one awesome Christmas songs to listen to this December!  I hope you’ll enjoy listening to them!

Have a wonderful week!
